Speaking
Speaking to Schools and Recovery Programs
The rooms that need this work most are often the ones that never encounter it: teenagers in schools, and residents in recovery and treatment programs. EHF Canada brings it to them through talks and workshops delivered by Carl Nissen.
A speaker who has stood in those rooms
Carl is a motivational speaker and ambassador for Caledon Community Services, twice a guest speaker at its Christmas gala before an audience of about 400 — a talk that broke the event's fundraising record. He has spoken to about 250 people at an Iron Workers meeting. Credibility with a skeptical room is not a theory here; it is the track record.
A guest speaker — not a program
To be clear about what this is: Carl comes in as a guest speaker. He does not run a treatment or rehabilitation program, and nothing in a talk replaces one. Schools and programs bring him in to reach their people — the support structure stays with them.
